Hard to find, difficult to leave. Byward Kitchen and Bar is an independent, family-owned restaurant and bar right next to Tower Bridge in central London. We serve honest, seasonal food from hearty breakfasts and weekend brunches through to lunch, in a warm and welcoming space that transforms beautifully for private events, weddings, and special celebrations.

We have three entry points to Byward
1. Byward Street Main Entrance (Next to All Hallows By the Tower Church - look out for the Red Telephone Box)
Byward KB is tucked behind a low brick wall, look out for the Byward sign at the entrance gate and walk through the pathway lined with greenery to reach the terrace and main entrance
2. Tower Hill Terrace (Through the black gates and down the steps)
Tucked behind the black historic gates of All Hallows by the Tower on Byward Street, Byward Kitchen & Bar is accessed through a beautiful courtyard entrance framed by stone pillars, greenery, and the church's striking medieval architecture.
3. Tower Place East (Through the church doors)
As you approach, look for the large stone church with Gothic windows and the turquoise "Byward Kitchen & Bar" sign displayed along the railings. The entrance is through the striking wooden double doors set within a white stone archway
You'll also spot our outdoor menu boards on the pavement outside the entrance.
If you reach Tower Hill Underground Station or Trinity Square Gardens, you're only a short walk away.

Last Lunch booking 3:30pm
We are open in the evenings for Exclusive Private Hire.
